Lake Biwa is the largest in Japan, and a very important source of water for the Kinki area. My home prefecture is Shiga, and I live near Lake Biwa. Sometimes when I think of it, I feel lonely.
The sunset is very beautiful. Deep orange gives me an emotion that I cannot describe. It is so wonderful sight!

You are lucky to have been born in Shiga. It’s one of my favorite prefectures in Japan. The presence of the lake in combination with all the surrounding mountains makes it a gorgeous place to be.
Where exactly in Shiga are you from?

Nice pic! Was that taken from the northern part of the lake? I spent five days doing a full circle around Lake Biwa during the recent holiday, it was beautiful!
